Sidney Lumet
Op 86 jarige leeftijd is Sidney Lumet in 2011 overleden.Hij werd vijfmaal genomineerd voor een Oscar en ontving in 2005 een ere-Oscar voor zijn gehele oeuvre. Voor "12 Angry Men" ontving hij in 1957 de Gouden Beer en voor "Network" in 1977 de Golden Globe voor Beste Regie. Hij kreeg ook vier Gouden Palm-nominaties en acht BAFTA-nominaties.
